It Can Be Easy To Make A Difference

Have you wished for ways to make a difference with ease, in just a few minutes a week, on a regular basis?
We had that desire, and out of it came the idea for a Make A Difference Project. We'll collect your best ideas and share them here. Steady, step by step efforts add up. And we want to put our efforts where they most count.

We’ll publish links to select causes that:

1. Give a concrete, practical, and impactful action that can be taken quickly and easily. (A great model for this is Amnesty International’s ‘click and send’ letters. They work.) With causes like this, in 5 minutes a week you can make a huge difference.
   
2. Are web-friendly, and can be done primarily on the web, in minutes. One small step at a time gets a lot done. When you find a place to begin, life opens doors for you.
   
3. Focus on the solution, not just the problem. One of my mottos has long been “No complaining without implementing a solution.” And we don't want to focus on horrors and low vibrations. Keep the nose tipped up, look only at the goal, and see everyone's Large Selves prevailing, with a little help from you!
   

AAN editor Michael Abedin collaborates with Lola Jones on the Make a Difference project. We will build these new pages with your help. We'll begin with links to good causes, and have a discussion forum for you to share ideas and meet people.

Making a difference is easy as 1, 2, 3:

1. Don't get caught up in the problem. See the solution, as your Large Self does, and smile.
2. Do only as much as you can while still keeping your vibration high. Skip the unpleasant details if you need to.
3. Budget 5 minutes a week to make a difference. Small consistent efforts add up tremendously.
