"Becoming a father is easy enough, but being one can be very rough." Having a baby changes EVERYTHING... and rarely in the ways you expect. Most classes and books are designed for women and focus on the birth process and general information. This class is designed for guys by a guy... its all the stuff I had to learn the hard way and didn't find in any books. In fact, much of what I have learned comes from my experiences with sales psychology, health, and military strategy (believe it or not!). Being a dad is different from being a mom (go figure), and no one can teach you how to do it. Ultimately, you gotta just jump in with both feet and start swimming. However, you will have a massively easier time if you know what to expect, what to avoid, and how to deal with the issues that are going to come up. Life is different and dads today have to be more than just the stern disciplinarian who isn't to be bothered - we have to adapt in order to survive. In this class, we are going to cover childbirth, the 4th trimester (whats that?), and the first 2 years. This is NOT a class for moms (sorry - no women allowed). I'm going to tell it to you straight and not pull any punches. When you walk out of here, though, you will be ready for just about anything that comes up. A few of the topics we will cover: Look - being a dad is great. Its probably the greatest, most rewarding thing I have ever done. But, when things go wrong, they go wrong fast and it can be scary. Get the training you need to head into this new experience with confidence. Be prepared - because its not what happens that matters, but how you deal with it. You don't have to be perfect, but you do need to be ready for anything. With this class, you will be. Get the tools and information you need to survive a new baby.
