The goal of the class is to help parents set up their child's eating habits for a lifetime of good health. Highlights of the class include:

• Preparation of highly digestible grain and vegetable dishes for baby's first meals.
• Mimicking breast milk to ease the transition to first foods.
• Encouraging a love of grains, vegetables, fruits, protein sources, and other healthful foods.
• How to build baby's trust in new foods.
• Add-ins to baby's food to up the nutritional benefit of the dish.
• Preparing soothing snacks for all occasions (teething, soothing, 
• Varying dishes as baby's digestive system matures.
• Practicing cooking techniques that maximize baby's absorption of nutrients.
• Discussing the energetic effects of various foods and how they affect baby's emotional state.
• Varying a portion of your meal for baby to minimize preparing separate dinners for every member of the family.
• Modifying dishes learned in class for older kids and adults.

 
Brooke is a graduate of the Natural Epicurean Academy of Culinary Arts and can speak to food preparation and nutritive value of all foods from both eastern and western perspectives. Any and all questions are welcome. She loves holding dynamic discussion classes that help all to experience the joyful, transformative effects of food.
